Good message, Chris! I had watched videos of Charlie for a year or so. I soon came to the conclusion that he was both a true man of God and a genius. His ability to recall names, dates, Scripture, studies, statistics, quotes of scientists, philosophers, history, etc., was phenomenal!
I never saw him demean anyone. I'm not saying I saw every video ever made of him to know that he never got angry. But in the hours and hours of videos I have watched, he was always patient, kind, and loving. He would stand firmly for the Word of God and against what he considered or knew was false, but I never heard him denigrate anyone. His strong example on being a hard worker and a godly father and husband were exemplary.
We know the Lord in his providence allowed Charlie to be murdered. I have no doubt that he heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant" from the Lord. And I am praying that his death will inspire thousands of more "Charlies" to arise and carry on the Lord's work.
