This month, our blog posts covered various topics, from welcoming a new family member to exploring leadership principles and workplace dynamics. We started with the heartwarming introduction of Harry, a short-haired miniature dachshund who brought joy and excitement to our home after the loss of our beloved Buddy. Harry's playful energy and growing bond with Hopper highlighted the enduring bonds of companionship and the circle of life. This new chapter with Harry reminded us of the love and lessons Buddy left behind.
We then delved into the inspiring leadership principles of William Wilberforce, whose relentless fight against the slave trade offers valuable lessons for modern management. His story emphasized the importance of strong relationships, continuous skill development, and leading by example. We also celebrated Subaru of Winchester's 100% participation in the CliftonStrengths® assessment, which enhanced team cohesion, improved management, and increased engagement. Mandy's innovative approach and the team's embrace of their strengths set a new standard for leveraging individual talents in the workplace.
Finally, we explored the state of wellbeing and the impact of faith in the workplace. We examined Gallup's Net Thriving principles and the current state of wellbeing globally, highlighting the importance of emotional wellbeing in overall life satisfaction. Additionally, we discussed how integrating faith into the workplace can enhance wellbeing, boost motivation, and create a positive work culture. Organizations can foster a supportive, motivated, and ethically sound work environment by understanding and leveraging these insights.
We also recorded three podcasts. Links to all of this content are listed below. Enjoy!
