In fact, my colleague in next cubicle is Muslim and him taking time to pray at regular intervals to me is something that catches my attention. And as a Christian, I have used this as a door opener to ask him more about his faith whilst sharing about my own.
And I can tell you, it’s a nice distraction from work to be sharing a coffee and not just talking about work matters.
In the morning our office starts with a gratitude meeting. Each person says 3-4 things they are grateful for. This time can lead to a moment where someone may need emotional support or an encouraging word to get through the day. I have seen this 10 minute meeting grow our team in a supportive manner.
